Aaspur, a tehsil in Dungarpur District of Southern Rajasthan, is strategically located at the junction of Udaipur, Banswara and Dungarpur. Being predominantly tribal and resource-poor, the nature of migration from this region is mainly unskilled, seasonal and low-end. Ahmedabad is the single-most prominent destination for the migrants from Aaspur, especially for trades like construction and domestic work. Some groups of construction workers and tea- stall owners/workers also migrate to Mumbai.

The Aaspur centre was started in 2009 and has been providing all the core migration services like registration, legal services and linkages to financial and social security schemes. Various campaigns, meetings and workshops are conducted by the centre regularly in order to maximize the outreach of our services among the migrants and ensure their linkages to them. Employment counseling, skill training and placement services for youth has emerged as a very important activity at the centre. In view of the relatively high levels of education among the youth in the region, a Youth Resource Centre has also been recently incubated at Aaspur. The objective is to provide high- end employability counseling to the youth in the region. It has also established active linkages with the destination centre in Ahmedabad, in providing various services to the community of domestic workers and construction workers.
